[Best Friends]

It's not good

The arms are quite short and make the girl getting hugged look awkward. This shit is so shiny Amuria & Ramy would be proud. Very weird torsos, etc. etc. Basically this isn't too good of a picture and coming straight out of /ic/ where they would have a field day with this picture I'm not feeling in the mood to asspat you like Suwako. If you want to improve your art hopefully you can understand where I'm coming from.

[Experiment #4]

My favorite 'experiment.'

All the other are cool but this seems the most realistic of an experiment to me. I can see it slithering through a tropical jungle silently dragging it's torso along the ground. Then propelling itself into the air to attach its claws into the torso of it's prey and impaling the head of it with it's scorpion like tail.
But that's just me.

I hated Demongo

But I love Samurai Jack. I watch it every day on Boomerang and this picture really captures his essence. Good job. I just wished Aku looked a little more evil and awesome.

Draw something original...

Though the stuff you draw is good, none of it is original material it's fanart. I see you can draw and the only reason I'm saying this is because I want to what YOUR characters look like.
Good job on this though, especially the eyes.

Nice cover.

I would probably pick it up and skim through it because I generally do judge books by their cover.The best part about the cover is the different perspectives made by the colors for example the negative outline of what I believer is a girl. I would make the Japanese text below AMICA a little more legible though. Good job, what's the story about by the way?

Firstly: Thanks for your compliment!! =)
Unfortunately I can't tell you any details of the story, because the contest forbid it =D But I can tell that it is about a friendship, which is stronger than any others and the boy in the foreground wants to make his best (female) friend a special present for her 18th birthday! When the contest-time is over, maybe I can submit the whole story in this portal! But must translate it from German to English and that might cost any time.

It gives it an (small) edgy and more sketchy feel (which I think you were going for.) Good job.

Something I'd see on an anti-drug ad, good job. Maybe you should add some color, more detail (unless you meant to keep it simple), and a background.

Yeh, I stuck with simple. I didnt know what to color them. Besides, if I did color them, and didnt like it, I would be screwed out of my original copy.

I really like your style, mostly the extreme exaggeration of basic emotions in the faces. I think you need to add some backgrounds though. But hell even I hate backgrounds, they sometimes take away from the character. Good job.

Peace & Shoes

Yes I know those are the typical shoes for Dragon Ball Z but I think you should adapt them to you know the time...the world 200 years later should look different meaning the fashion an all. I don't see us wearing the collars and having queens and stuff like we did 2 centuries ago.
And like the guy who commented before me, the peace sign is WAY too generic.
But good job nonetheless, just trying to help out.

yes, that's all true and all, but this still is Toriyama we're talking about.

Based on his designs for Chrono Trigger, Dragonball, Blue Dragon and Dragon Quest, I can tell you that Toriyama couldn't care less about peace signs being generic and shoes being old fashioned... I'm just trying to stay close to the source...

you said yourself that they're typical DBZ shoes, which in that same series seem to look universally the same ACROSS TIME AND SPACE!
